'501
Para' was formed by a group of military history
enthusiasts in 2004 as a living history
re-enactment group portraying the 501st Parachute
Infantry Regiment of the US 101st Airborne
Division.
Through static displays, dynamic diorama and active battle scenes the group aims to accurately depict the US Airborne soldier fighting in Northern Europe during World War 2, recreating their epic fight from the bocage of Normandy to the fox holes and winter of Bastogne.
The group has an ever growing collection of historic World War 2 vehicles, from the impressive GMC 352 and 353 'Jimmy's', to the Dodge WC Utility Vehicle and the legendary Willy's Jeep.

Whilst this is primarily a hobby for all our members we remember that the uniform we wear, and the soldiers we portray represent the sacrifice made by millions of people to safeguard the freedoms we enjoy today. To ensure that we respect their memory and conduct ourselves in a safe and professional manner we have a code of conduct which is followed by all members representing the group.
This is also available on request, please feel free to contact us via the email listed at the bottom of the page.
